Apple Watch Overview
GLPea on Apple Watch gives you quick access to your medication tracking right from your wrist. Check your next dose, log injections, and track water without pulling out your phone.
Requirements
- Apple Watch Series 4 or later
- watchOS 9 or later
- iPhone with GLPea installed and signed in
- Paired Watch connected to your iPhone
Installing GLPea on Watch
GLPea automatically installs on your paired Watch when you install it on iPhone:
- Install GLPea on your iPhone
- Open the Watch app on iPhone
- Scroll to find GLPea
- Ensure it's toggled ON
If GLPea doesn't appear:
- Open Watch app → My Watch
- Scroll to Available Apps
- Tap Install next to GLPea

Dashboard
Open GLPea on your Watch to see:
- Next dose countdown - Days and hours until injection
- Current medication - Your protocol at a glance
- Today's stats - Water intake, recent activity
Quick Actions
Tap to:
- Log Dose - Record an injection
- Log Water - Track water intake
- View History - See recent logs
Complications
Add GLPea to your watch face for at-a-glance info:
- Next dose countdown
- Current protocol
- Quick launch button
Syncing with iPhone
Automatic Sync
Data syncs automatically between Watch and iPhone:
- Log a dose on Watch → appears on iPhone
- Update protocol on iPhone → Watch updates
- Works over Bluetooth or WiFi
Sync Timing
- Immediate when devices are connected
- Background sync happens periodically
- Manual sync when you open the app
If Sync Isn't Working
- Ensure Watch and iPhone are connected (check Control Center)
- Open GLPea on both devices
- Wait a moment for sync to complete
- If still stuck, restart both devices
Battery Considerations
GLPea is designed to be battery-efficient:
- Uses minimal background updates
- Complications update periodically, not constantly
- No GPS or continuous sensor access
Typical impact: minimal (less than 5% daily)

Digital Crown
- Scroll through lists

Troubleshooting
Watch App Won't Open
- Force close and reopen
- Restart your Watch
- Check that iPhone app is working
- Reinstall if needed
Data Not Showing
- Open app on iPhone first
- Wait for sync
- Check internet connectivity
- Verify you're signed in on iPhone
Complications Not Updating
- Force touch watch face → Edit
- Remove and re-add the GLPea complication
- Restart Watch
- Ensure Background App Refresh is on
