Quick Actions

Quick action buttons at the bottom of your dashboard let you log information with just one tap. Here's how to use each one.

Log Dose

The primary action button for recording injections.

When to use: Immediately after taking your injection

What it does:

  1. Opens the dose logging screen
  2. Shows a body map for injection site selection
  3. Records the dose with timestamp
  4. Updates your countdown timer

Quick Logging

If you're in a hurry, you can log a dose in under 5 seconds: tap Log Dose → tap injection site → tap Confirm.

Add Weight

Track your weight to see trends over time.

When to use: Best logged at the same time each day (most people choose morning, before eating)

What it does:

  1. Opens the weight entry screen
  2. Shows your previous weight for reference
  3. Records the new measurement
  4. Updates your weight chart

Tips for accurate tracking:

  • Use the same scale each time
  • Weigh at the same time of day
  • Log weekly or daily, whichever you prefer

Add Water

Track your daily water intake to stay hydrated.

When to use: Throughout the day as you drink

What it does:

  1. Opens the water logging screen
  2. Shows preset amounts (8oz glass, 16oz bottle, etc.)
  3. Or enter a custom amount
  4. Adds to your daily total

Why track water? GLP-1 medications work better when you're well-hydrated, and tracking helps ensure you're drinking enough.

Daily Check-In

Log how you're feeling and any symptoms.

When to use: Once per day, or whenever you notice symptoms

What it does:

  1. Opens the symptom logging screen
  2. Shows common GLP-1 side effects to track
  3. Lets you rate severity
  4. Records notes about how you're feeling

Common symptoms to track:

  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Appetite changes
  • Injection site reactions

Accessing Quick Actions

From the Dashboard

Quick action buttons appear at the bottom of your main dashboard view. Scroll down if you don't see them immediately.

From Apple Watch

Open GLPea on your Watch to see quick actions:

  • Log Dose - Full dose logging
  • Add Water - Quick water entry

  • "Log my GLPea dose"
  • "Log water in GLPea"

Customizing Quick Actions

Currently, quick action buttons are fixed to the most common logging tasks. Future updates may allow customization.

Quick Action History

Everything you log through quick actions appears in your:

  • Dashboard recent activity - Most recent entries
  • History tab - Complete searchable history
  • Progress charts - Visualized over time
