Photo & Voice Attachments
GLPea lets you attach photos and voice notes to your dose logs, giving you richer records of your injection experience. This is a Pro feature available with a GLPea Pro subscription.
Photo Attachments
Taking a Photo
When logging a dose, you can attach a photo:
- Start logging a dose as usual
- Tap the camera icon below the injection site map
- Choose Take Photo to use your camera, or Choose from Gallery to select an existing image
- The photo attaches to your dose log
- Complete the dose log and tap Save
What to Photograph
Some ideas for useful dose photos:
- Injection site -- Track how sites look over time
- Medication pen -- Record dose window and pen usage
- Packaging -- Keep a record of batch numbers
- Anything relevant -- Whatever helps you track your journey
Viewing Photos
To see a photo attached to a past dose:
- Go to History
- Tap a dose entry that has a photo (indicated by a small camera icon)
- The photo appears in the dose detail view
- Tap the photo to view it full-screen
Voice Notes
Recording a Voice Note
Voice notes let you quickly capture how you're feeling without typing:
- Start logging a dose
- Tap the microphone icon below the injection site map
- Speak your note (e.g., "Injected in right thigh, felt a slight pinch")
- Tap Stop when finished
- The voice note attaches to your dose log
- Complete the dose log and tap Save
TIP
Voice notes are great for recording how the injection felt, any immediate side effects, or reminders for next time -- all without having to type.
Playing Voice Notes
To listen to a voice note from a past dose:
- Go to History
- Tap a dose entry that has a voice note (indicated by a small microphone icon)
- Tap the play button in the dose detail view
- The voice note plays through your device speaker
Storage and Privacy
- Attachments are stored securely and encrypted
- Photos and voice notes sync across your devices
- Attachments are included if you export your data
- Only you can access your attachments
Pro Feature
Photo and voice attachments require a GLPea Pro subscription. Free users can log doses but cannot attach media. Upgrade in Settings > Subscription.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many photos can I attach per dose?
You can attach one photo per dose log. If you need to capture multiple angles, consider using your phone's camera app and then selecting the best image from your gallery.
Is there a time limit for voice notes?
Voice notes can be up to 60 seconds long. For longer notes, use the text notes field in the dose log.
Can I delete an attachment?
Yes. Open the dose entry in History, tap the attachment, and select Remove. The dose log itself remains -- only the attachment is deleted.
Do attachments count against my storage?
Attachments use a small amount of cloud storage included with your Pro subscription. For typical use, you won't come close to any limits.
