Achievement Badges

Badges are permanent achievements you earn as you progress through your GLP-1 journey. GLPea includes 15 badges across four categories, giving you concrete goals to work toward.

Viewing Your Badges

To see all available badges:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Achievements
  3. Browse badges by category

Locked badges appear greyed out with a description of what's needed to earn them. Unlocked badges are shown in full color with the date you earned them.

Badge Categories

Consistency Badges (5)

These badges reward you for showing up regularly.

TIP

Consistency badges align with the celebration milestones, so you'll earn the badge and see an animation at the same time.

Progress Badges (4)

These badges celebrate measurable health progress.

Unit-Aware Badges

Weight-based badges display in your preferred unit. If you use kilograms, you'll see "2.3 kg" instead of "5 lbs." Your unit preference is set in Settings > Unit Measurements.

These badges encourage you to try all of GLPea's features.

How Badges Work

Earning Badges

Badges are awarded automatically when you meet the requirement. There's nothing to claim or activate -- just keep using GLPea and they'll appear.

When you earn a new badge:

  1. A notification appears (if notifications are enabled)
  2. The badge unlocks in Settings > Achievements
  3. If community sharing is enabled, it may appear in the Community Feed

Badge Progress

For badges that require cumulative progress (like "Fifty Strong"), you can tap the locked badge to see how close you are. A progress indicator shows your current count versus the goal.

Badges and Streaks

Some badges depend on streaks. If your streak resets, you'll need to build it back up to the required length. Previous streak lengths don't carry over for badge purposes -- the streak must be continuous.

Tips for Earning All 15

  1. Start with Exploration -- These are the easiest to earn. Try a meal scan, do a check-in, and generate a provider report.
  2. Stay consistent -- Consistency badges come naturally if you keep your streaks alive.
  3. Track your weight -- Regular weigh-ins ensure you don't miss a Progress badge.
  4. Be patient -- The 52-week badge takes a year. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

TIP

Badges are synced to your account, so they'll be there if you switch devices or reinstall the app.
