Celebrations
Celebrations are full-screen animations that appear when you reach important milestones in your GLP-1 journey. They're GLPea's way of recognizing your effort and keeping you motivated.
What Are Celebrations?
When you hit a milestone, GLPea shows a full-screen animated celebration. These are short, delightful animations that appear automatically -- no action needed on your part.
Each celebration is unique to the milestone, so you'll see different visuals as you progress through your journey.
Milestone Celebrations
GLPea celebrates these major milestones with full-screen animations:

| First Dose | You log your very first dose in GLPea |
| 7-Day Engagement | You've been active for 7 consecutive days |
| 4-Week Dose Streak | You've logged doses for 4 weeks in a row |
| First Weight Loss | You record a weight lower than your starting weight |
| 12-Week Streak | You've maintained a dose streak for 12 weeks |
| 52-Week Streak | A full year of consistent dosing |

Celebrations are triggered once per milestone. You won't see the same celebration again, but you can view your earned milestones in Settings > Achievements.
How to Dismiss Celebrations
When a celebration appears, you have two options:
- Tap anywhere on the screen to dismiss it immediately
- Wait a few seconds and it will fade away on its own
Celebrations never block you from using the app -- they're designed to be quick and unobtrusive.
Minor Milestones
Not every achievement gets a full-screen animation. For smaller wins, GLPea shows a sparkle effect on your streak counter in the dashboard. You'll see sparkles for things like:
- Hitting a new personal best streak
- Reaching round numbers (10 days, 25 days, etc.)
- Logging consistently after a streak reset
These subtle animations add a bit of delight without interrupting your flow.
Celebration Settings
Celebrations are enabled by default. If you'd prefer a quieter experience:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Notifications & Alerts
- Toggle Milestone Celebrations off
TIP
Even with celebrations turned off, your milestones are still tracked and badges are still earned. You just won't see the animations.
