Set Up Your Protocol
Your medication protocol tells GLPea what you're taking and when. This information powers your dose reminders, countdown timer, and progress tracking.

What You'll Need
Before starting, have this information ready:
- Your medication name (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound)
- Your current dose (e.g., 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg)
- Your injection day (the day of the week you inject)
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Select Your Medication
After signing in, GLPea asks which medication you're taking:
- Ozempic (semaglutide) - Weekly injection
- Wegovy (semaglutide) - Weekly injection
- Mounjaro (tirzepatide) - Weekly injection
- Zepbound (tirzepatide) - Weekly injection
Tap your medication to continue.
2. Select Your Dose
Choose your current prescribed dose from the list. Doses vary by medication:

| Ozempic | 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg, 2mg |
| Wegovy | 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg, 1.7mg, 2.4mg |
| Mounjaro | 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, 15mg |
| Zepbound | 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, 15mg |
Starting a New Medication?
Most protocols start at the lowest dose. Select your starting dose and update it as your doctor increases it.
3. Set Your Injection Day
Pick the day of the week you take your injection. GLPea will:
- Show a countdown to your next dose
- Send reminders on injection day
- Track your weekly schedule
4. Optional: Set Your Start Date
If you've already taken doses, you can backdate your start:
- Tap Advanced Options
- Select when you started this medication
- GLPea will calculate where you are in your protocol
After Setup
Once your protocol is configured, you'll see your dashboard with:
- Days until next dose - Countdown timer
- Current dose - Your active dose level
- Quick actions - Log dose, add metrics, view history
Changing Your Protocol Later
Your doctor may adjust your dose over time. To update:
- Go to Settings → Edit Protocol
- Select your new dose
- Save changes
GLPea keeps a history of all your protocol changes so you can see how your treatment has evolved.
