Quick Fixes
Before diving into specific issues, try these general solutions:
Restart the App
- Swipe up to see recent apps
- Swipe GLPea away to close it
- Open GLPea again
Restart Your Device
Sometimes a simple restart fixes syncing and performance issues.
Check for Updates
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon
- Scroll to find GLPea
- Tap Update if available
Check Your Connection
Many features require internet:
- Try opening Safari to verify connectivity
- Switch between WiFi and cellular
- Toggle Airplane Mode on/off
Most Common Issues
Can't Sign In
Wrong password:
- Tap Forgot Password? on sign-in screen
- Enter your email
- Check your inbox for reset link
- Create a new password
Account not found:
- Double-check the email address
- Try Apple Sign In if that's how you registered
- Make sure you're not creating a new account by mistake
Network error:
- Check internet connection
- Try a different network (WiFi vs cellular)
- Wait and try again (may be temporary server issue)
Dashboard Shows Wrong Information
Countdown incorrect:
- Check your protocol settings (Settings → Edit Protocol)
- Verify your last logged dose date is correct
- Pull down to refresh the dashboard
Stats not updating:
- Log new data to see updates
- Pull down to refresh
- Check that you're looking at today's data
Can't Log a Dose
Button not responding:
- Restart the app
- Check internet connection
- Ensure you're signed in
Wrong dose amount showing:
- Update your protocol first (Settings → Edit Protocol)
- The dose shown matches your current protocol

Account Issues
Forgot Password
- On sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address
- Check email (including spam folder)
- Click the reset link within 1 hour
- Create a new password
Can't Remember Which Email I Used
- Check your email history for "GLPea" welcome emails
- Try signing in with Apple Sign In
- Contact support with any identifying information
Want to Change My Email
- Go to Settings → Edit Profile
- Update your email address
- Verify the new email
Want to Delete My Account
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
This is permanent
Export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
App Performance
App Running Slowly
- Close other apps running in background
- Restart your device
- Ensure you have free storage space
- Update to the latest iOS
App Crashes on Open
- Restart your device
- Update GLPea from App Store
- If still crashing, delete and reinstall (you won't lose data—it's tied to your account)
Battery Drain
GLPea is designed to be battery-efficient. If you notice drain:
- Check Background App Refresh settings
- Remove Watch complications if not needed
- Reduce notification frequency
Data Issues
Lost My Data
Your data is tied to your account:
- Ensure you're signed in with the correct account
- Check that you didn't accidentally create a new account
- Data syncs from the cloud—wait for sync to complete
Duplicate Entries
To remove duplicates:
- Go to History
- Find the duplicate
- Tap to open
- Delete the extra entry
Wrong Date on a Log
- Go to History
- Find the entry
- Tap Edit
- Change the date/time
- Save
Apple Watch Issues
Watch App Not Installed
- Open Watch app on iPhone
- Scroll to GLPea
- Ensure it's toggled ON
Watch Not Syncing
- Ensure Watch and iPhone are connected
- Open GLPea on both devices
- Wait for sync
- Restart both devices if needed
